There was a time when waking up felt heavy…

like something we had to survive, not something we were excited to live.

And now?

Something changed.

In this episode, we share the real story of what shifted for us, from struggling with depression, anxiety, and feeling stuck to waking up with energy, clarity, and a sense of purpose we never thought was possible.

After attending a powerful 4-day immersive experience, we started to see something differently:

  • The way we think
  • The way we set intentions
  • The way we approach our lives

But more importantly…

We realized that the change didn’t come from the event itself, it came from the work we’ve been doing behind the scenes for the past two years.

This conversation dives into:

  • The difference between hoping vs. knowing
  • How small mental shifts can completely change your reality
  • Why most people are “doing the work”… but not seeing results
  • The power of intention (and how to actually use it)
  • The moment we realized we might be on the exact path we’re meant for

And maybe most importantly…

Why you might be one decision away from changing your life.

If you’ve ever felt stuck, lost, or unsure if change is even possible for you,

this episode is going to hit home.

Because if it’s possible for us…

it's possible for you too.

00:00:00.719 --> 00:00:11.439
Yesterday, when we took the doggos for a walk, I shared a story with you about how that morning I rolled out of bed and the alarm went off.

00:00:11.759 --> 00:00:13.919
First thing we had to do was take our daughter to school.

00:00:14.080 --> 00:00:22.960
But the first thought I had was I took my mask off and I was like, man, that sun is so amazingly bright in this room.

00:00:23.120 --> 00:00:25.440
It's such a beautiful day.

00:00:25.679 --> 00:00:29.359
And I thought this all happened within 20 seconds.

00:00:29.519 --> 00:00:33.039
I'm not talking about a full-on like morning ritual or anything like that.

00:00:33.200 --> 00:00:35.679
These were just my first automatic thoughts.

00:00:35.840 --> 00:00:38.960
And I thought, oh, I have so many things I want to work on today.

00:00:39.119 --> 00:00:45.200
I have so much stuff I have to get done for our business, for the podcast, uh, for our family.

00:00:45.359 --> 00:00:49.200
And I was so excited to go do all the stuff and just get the day started.

00:00:49.359 --> 00:00:57.280
And I hopped out of bed with a little bit of a pep in my step, which is not my norm, as you know.

00:00:57.439 --> 00:00:59.200
I'm not, I'm not a good morning person.

00:00:59.520 --> 00:01:00.399
Oh, I know.

00:01:00.960 --> 00:01:10.959
So I was reflecting back on why, how I was able to get out of bed like that, because that's never been a thing for me.

00:01:11.120 --> 00:01:21.200
And I was reflecting back years ago when I would roll over, wake up, my alarm would go off, and I would my thoughts were not that positive.

00:01:21.359 --> 00:01:23.519
They were like, ugh, yeah.

00:01:23.760 --> 00:01:31.599
Did I just wake up again to this life that I have to get out of bed and go live and do the things that I don't want to do?

00:01:32.000 --> 00:01:32.719
You were depressed.

00:01:32.959 --> 00:01:34.640
I was severely depressed.

00:01:34.879 --> 00:01:42.480
I was very I was fighting like anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts every day, all day.

00:01:42.640 --> 00:01:43.599
It was a battle.

00:01:43.840 --> 00:01:44.239
Yeah.

00:01:44.879 --> 00:01:58.000
And I never in a million years at that time would have thought that someday I would be able to wake up and have those feelings of being excited to get my day started and work on the things I want to work on.

00:01:58.239 --> 00:02:00.000
Yeah, that that's an amazing feeling.

00:02:00.159 --> 00:02:00.959
It's amazing.

00:02:01.120 --> 00:02:05.040
And it uh it set the tone for my whole whole day.

00:02:05.200 --> 00:02:05.439
Yeah.

00:02:05.599 --> 00:02:06.159
Oh yeah.

00:02:06.400 --> 00:02:12.879
And I ne again, just never thought that those feelings were available to me because I had never experienced it before.

00:02:13.199 --> 00:02:14.319
Yeah, I believe it.

00:02:14.560 --> 00:02:16.560
Yeah, it was pretty amazing.

00:02:16.879 --> 00:02:25.199
And what do you think, what makes you think that trigger uh those emotions or that emotion uh that morning?

00:02:25.599 --> 00:02:35.759
Well, I mean, it it's a culmination of many things um for the past two years of all the hard work that I've been putting in to myself and working on me.

00:02:36.400 --> 00:02:47.840
Um, but we had also just gotten back from the Silva Method seminar in San Diego, California, which was hosted by D Divine Grace.

00:02:48.080 --> 00:02:49.120
She was fantastic.

00:02:49.280 --> 00:02:50.719
Oh, yeah, she was awesome.

00:02:50.960 --> 00:02:55.520
And it was a four-day seminar, four-day immersion.

00:02:55.680 --> 00:03:01.039
I think they break it in two parts, like the Silva Live system and the Silva Intuition System.

00:03:01.199 --> 00:03:01.599
That's right.

00:03:01.759 --> 00:03:03.680
So it's two days and two days.

00:03:03.919 --> 00:03:06.879
We did both, was from 9 to 7 p.m.

00:03:07.199 --> 00:03:08.080
was amazing.

00:03:08.240 --> 00:03:17.280
And I think uh Kim, after being there for four days in San Diego, doing all this meditation, connecting with all the people.

00:03:17.680 --> 00:03:19.840
Yeah, learning the tools and techniques.

00:03:20.319 --> 00:03:22.800
That kind of really gives you, I think, a boost.

00:03:23.039 --> 00:03:24.000
A boost or so.

00:03:24.319 --> 00:03:25.599
I needed the reset though.

00:03:25.680 --> 00:03:26.719
We both did for sure.

00:03:26.960 --> 00:03:35.199
Yeah, I needed it too, because when you send me the link when you found it, and then you're like, hey, can't still have a meth, there's a still a method in San Diego.

00:03:35.280 --> 00:03:35.520
Yeah.

00:03:35.680 --> 00:03:38.560
And when I saw it, I was like, oh wow, yeah, we need this.

00:03:38.639 --> 00:03:38.800
Yeah.

00:03:39.039 --> 00:03:39.520
I need this.

00:03:39.599 --> 00:03:40.879
I I took it personal.

00:03:41.039 --> 00:03:41.599
Yeah.

00:03:41.840 --> 00:03:47.919
You know, and when I saw the name, her name Divine, you know, for some reason it clicked.

00:03:48.080 --> 00:03:50.479
Something gave me like a good vibe from far away.

00:03:50.639 --> 00:03:50.960
Yeah.

00:03:51.199 --> 00:03:54.960
Well, we're not too far, but you know, like 350 miles or so.

00:03:55.120 --> 00:03:55.439
Yeah.

00:03:55.840 --> 00:03:59.039
But still, you know, it's not like she's my neighbor.

00:03:59.280 --> 00:04:05.599
But yeah, I was just, I was reading about it, about the whole thing, and it was just like, yeah, this kind of feels right.

00:04:05.680 --> 00:04:13.439
You know, I this is after I lost my job, looking like, okay, you know, how can I keep me motivated?

00:04:13.599 --> 00:04:16.480
And you know, I need to move forward.

00:04:16.639 --> 00:04:17.680
Yeah, gain clarity.

00:04:17.920 --> 00:04:18.399
Gain clarity.

00:04:18.639 --> 00:04:18.959
Focus.

00:04:19.279 --> 00:04:19.680
Absolutely.

00:04:19.759 --> 00:04:20.000
Yeah.

00:04:20.079 --> 00:04:21.279
So it was awesome.

00:04:21.360 --> 00:04:24.160
It was was great, you know, exhausting was was great.

00:04:24.319 --> 00:04:24.639
Again.

00:04:24.879 --> 00:04:29.360
And I feel like now I approach life in a different way.

00:04:29.519 --> 00:04:34.079
Um, my meditations or my prayers has a different meaning now.

00:04:34.160 --> 00:04:35.839
Um I feel more aligned.

00:04:36.399 --> 00:04:42.399
I feel more uh productive, even though I know it's just been what two days or so since we came back.

00:04:42.720 --> 00:04:48.240
But I feel like my my engine is ready to go, you know, which is which is great.

00:04:48.560 --> 00:04:50.240
Yeah, she was fantastic.

00:04:50.399 --> 00:04:58.160
She really did a great job of instructing the class and telling um her stories that I think people could relate to.

00:04:58.240 --> 00:05:09.360
And she made she the tools and techniques that she was teaching, you know, through her stories made it more sound more achievable, made it sound like you know, we can all do this.

00:05:09.519 --> 00:05:13.199
We all have this ability to use these tools and techniques.

00:05:13.439 --> 00:05:24.959
And I think that was really important uh for her to instill in people because I a lot of the or some of the people in the room were new to the work and brand new.

00:05:25.120 --> 00:05:30.480
Actually, one of the men there said that he had never meditated before.

00:05:30.720 --> 00:05:30.959
Yeah.

00:05:31.120 --> 00:05:39.040
And he was there with his wife also, and he was facing a new facing something new in his life, different it was, it was retirement, I guess.

00:05:39.199 --> 00:05:39.600
Yes.

00:05:39.839 --> 00:05:49.839
So he was just looking for clarity and and purpose, I think, and she did a great job of being all inclusive of all walks of life and teaching the things.

00:05:50.079 --> 00:05:52.240
Yeah, this thought just came to me.

00:05:53.199 --> 00:05:58.160
I know we've been talking about meditation, and for a lot of people, meditation sounds like, what the heck?

00:05:58.240 --> 00:05:59.600
Like, I have no time to meditate.

00:05:59.680 --> 00:06:01.920
Like what are you talking about, meditate?

00:06:02.399 --> 00:06:05.600
But we've been meditating for so long, but we just don't know.

00:06:05.839 --> 00:06:12.800
We just don't, you know, if you go back You just don't call it meditation because you're not aware that that's what it actually is.

00:06:13.120 --> 00:06:18.480
If we go back years, years ago, uh we've been praying for so long.

00:06:18.560 --> 00:06:21.920
And for me, it's prayer is some sort of a slash meditation.

00:06:22.160 --> 00:06:35.040
If you really go back to, I don't know, tribes or the Indians or so, they used at night, they used to, yeah, their gods were the stars or the moon, and they used to dance, and they used to do all these things.

00:06:35.279 --> 00:06:49.199
How come that we needed, you know, the to to celebrate, to gather around the fire and look at the stars and kind of connect with something, you know what I mean, and expect what what they were expecting.

00:06:49.279 --> 00:07:01.040
They were expecting rain, they were expecting God, whoever whatever God they were believing back then, right, to show up, to bring hope, to bring power, to bring, I don't know, food or animals.

00:07:01.199 --> 00:07:11.439
I don't know what the heck they were thinking back then, but there was some sort of meditation happening, yeah, you know, some sort of channeling, you know, for them to really thrive, right?

00:07:11.680 --> 00:07:12.879
You know, in their tribes.

00:07:13.120 --> 00:07:13.759
Yeah.

00:07:14.480 --> 00:07:23.199
And the the thing is, like you say, like prayer is like along the same lines of meditation for you, is that's your experience.

00:07:23.519 --> 00:07:30.720
And that's the thing, is you know, so many people pray, but they would never say, Oh, I meditate.

00:07:31.360 --> 00:07:45.600
But prayer, you know, is a form of meditation, but that's exactly kind of what the Silva method is teaching you how to do is how to hone those skills and make it more impactful.

00:07:45.920 --> 00:07:50.399
Because so many people pray, but they don't get what they want.

00:07:50.639 --> 00:07:58.160
And they're they don't they their life isn't unfolding the way they want it to because they're not using the proper techniques and tools.

00:07:58.319 --> 00:08:10.160
They're just saying, Oh, I hope I I hope I get this or I wish for that, or I wish for health, or I wish for, you know, money or a relationship, but those that's not the proper techniques.

00:08:10.560 --> 00:08:13.839
They are doing it without a f without intention and they don't even know it.

00:08:14.000 --> 00:08:14.240
Right.

00:08:14.480 --> 00:08:21.759
Because if you go right now into a prayer or whatever, if you're just gonna say, Oh man, I wish I just I wish I just like meet someone.

00:08:22.000 --> 00:08:22.399
Right.

00:08:22.879 --> 00:08:24.720
But are you really setting the intention?

00:08:24.879 --> 00:08:25.120
Right.

00:08:25.360 --> 00:08:28.319
You think that you are like setting the intention, but you're not.

00:08:28.399 --> 00:08:30.079
You're just gonna throw in words out there.

00:08:30.160 --> 00:08:31.759
But if you're like, man, you know what?

00:08:32.000 --> 00:08:39.440
I know I want to meet someone, you know, uh my soulmate or whatever, I'm gonna or today I'm gonna get a good job.

00:08:39.600 --> 00:08:40.879
You know, I'm gonna get a call.

00:08:41.039 --> 00:08:42.000
I know I can feel it.

00:08:42.080 --> 00:08:47.120
So you put that intention in the universe, just like the Indians used to be doing back then near the fire.

00:08:47.200 --> 00:08:50.159
They were just setting up their intentions, you know.

00:08:50.559 --> 00:09:11.600
And when you do that, when you when you know how to do it, and with the Silva training, uh she taught us some techniques where we kind of basically focus, you know, in your inner mind and how to connect with source or God or whatever you believe in in uh to really accomplish things, you know.

00:09:12.159 --> 00:09:15.039
In a state of mind that we're all capable of.

00:09:15.279 --> 00:09:15.679
Yeah.

00:09:15.919 --> 00:09:27.200
And um and just so just to back up a second, but I just wanted to give a quick synopsis of what the Silva training actually is, just to clarify.

00:09:27.360 --> 00:09:27.519
Yeah.

00:09:27.679 --> 00:09:28.559
Yeah, clarify.

00:09:28.960 --> 00:09:45.440
Um, it's essentially like a system for training your mind through meditation, visualization, and other mental exercises in order to improve clarity, intuition, creativity, focus, and decision making, and so many other things.

00:09:45.840 --> 00:09:46.080
Yeah.

00:09:46.559 --> 00:10:00.399
So it's just again a method and tools and techniques of how to hone your skill in order to be able to create this a life that you truly love versus just letting it unfold.

00:10:00.720 --> 00:10:05.519
That was our kind of our main purpose for being there, is is that.

00:10:05.840 --> 00:10:11.200
Yeah, and it's great because again, like when I close my eyes, I'm going with full intention now.

00:10:11.279 --> 00:10:12.960
Okay, again, what are you creating?

00:10:13.519 --> 00:10:18.799
You know, everything that has been created in the world in the world was uh thought at some point.

00:10:19.039 --> 00:10:19.279
Yeah.

00:10:19.440 --> 00:10:25.600
So again, we're just going to basics, yeah, think deeper, get the the ideas flowing, you know.

00:10:25.919 --> 00:10:34.480
And so I think after Silva, I think, you know, that we just have a great, great tool to to accomplish a lot of things, and I feel excited about it.

00:10:34.799 --> 00:10:35.759
Yeah, same.

00:10:36.080 --> 00:10:42.639
And Ken, I was really hoping that I'd I don't know if you want to discuss this story, but I'm gonna kind of put you on the spot.

00:10:42.879 --> 00:10:50.559
I was hoping that you would share the story that you shared with me about this very podcast.

00:10:51.360 --> 00:10:51.679
Oh.

00:10:53.440 --> 00:11:08.000
Alright, so one of the meditations that we did uh with Divine in San Diego uh was to basically just about to really go into a meditative state and to think, what's your life purpose?

00:11:08.320 --> 00:11:09.919
Yeah, that was a good one.

00:11:10.559 --> 00:11:21.039
And well, you're sitting there, you know, all the phones are in airplane mode or so, and you're just basically, you know, meditating, thinking, okay, what's your life purpose?

00:11:21.279 --> 00:11:28.240
And then she was saying the whole time, it feel if it feels like it's uh made up, it that's actually the right the right answer.

00:11:28.559 --> 00:11:29.600
Correct, yeah.

00:11:29.840 --> 00:11:38.159
So and then I'm like going into my deep meditation thinking and you know, try to think of like what's my life purpose.

00:11:38.480 --> 00:11:44.960
And I couldn't the only word that showed up for some reason was podcast.

00:11:45.120 --> 00:11:45.679
Yeah.

00:11:45.919 --> 00:11:47.039
You know, and I wrote it down.

00:11:47.200 --> 00:11:48.080
Okay, podcast.

00:11:48.399 --> 00:11:54.159
Some other words or some other ideas came to me, you know, and then she was saying, Okay, just write it down.

00:11:54.559 --> 00:11:56.879
Whatever is coming to your mind, you know.

00:11:57.279 --> 00:12:08.240
Even if it I think what you're getting at is like, even if it felt forced, like it feels forced, like, oh, this should be my answer, she said, No, just write down whatever comes to your mind.

00:12:08.399 --> 00:12:10.559
So the word came in and you wrote it down.

00:12:10.799 --> 00:12:12.000
And I wrote it down, yeah.

00:12:12.159 --> 00:12:13.519
I was just yeah.

00:12:13.840 --> 00:12:23.600
And again, and here I am, uh recording another episode, uh hoping to guide and help others and share my story, you know, share share our story.

00:12:23.679 --> 00:12:24.720
That's the main reason.

00:12:25.039 --> 00:12:31.360
I'm gonna push you a little deeper on that one though, because you're you're glazing over the fact that I want to get to.

00:12:31.840 --> 00:12:40.159
So when we took a break after that exercise, I'm talking to Ken and I'm asking, so what what came up for you?

00:12:40.480 --> 00:12:53.840
And he showed me like his list of words or notes that he wrote down, and the first one was podcasts, and I thought, hmm, did you really come up with that or are you writing that to kind of appease me?

00:12:54.320 --> 00:12:55.759
And you said no.

00:12:56.000 --> 00:12:59.519
You said no, that that was the first word that came up for me, right?

00:12:59.679 --> 00:13:00.480
Yeah, yeah.

00:13:00.720 --> 00:13:14.639
So it was like an authentic feeling, which of course got me excited because I, as I've told you, I've I'm feeling like a little resistance with you, like whether or not you want to go on this journey with me for the podcast.

00:13:14.879 --> 00:13:20.000
Yeah, no, it's always a fear that, you know, for anything, not only the podcast, for for anything, right?

00:13:20.240 --> 00:13:20.399
Right.

00:13:20.480 --> 00:13:21.039
The unknown.

00:13:21.440 --> 00:13:24.639
Even even if you get a new job, you're gonna be nervous the first week.

00:13:24.799 --> 00:13:25.039
Yeah.

00:13:25.200 --> 00:13:36.720
You know, even if you have experience 20 years, because I worked with people that had uh was working in another field or another industry for 20 years, and they showed up to the office and I'm seeing them and they look just like little babies.

00:13:37.440 --> 00:13:40.080
They don't know, they're awkward, you know what I mean?

00:13:40.159 --> 00:13:47.679
They're they're just they're smart, but they're like they're nervous, they don't know the system, they don't know, you know what I mean, the flow.

00:13:47.840 --> 00:13:52.799
So even if you have tons of experience, you always have this kind of fear in the beginning.

00:13:53.039 --> 00:14:04.480
Uh same with the business, you know, if you if you have a if you're selling stuff, yeah, you know, you're like hoping, okay, I'm gonna open the doors, but I I hope that I sell my stuff, my products or my services.

00:14:04.799 --> 00:14:11.759
Same with the podcast, like, well, now I'm gonna be recording for hours, editing, and sharing my life with strangers or whatever.

00:14:12.000 --> 00:14:14.159
And like, I don't know, what am I doing?

00:14:14.240 --> 00:14:18.960
This, you know, like, but something is telling me, hey, just just do it.

00:14:19.039 --> 00:14:21.200
You know, just a difference there.

00:14:21.519 --> 00:14:27.919
Something else we were talking about this morning is there's like an inner knowing versus an an inner hoping.

00:14:28.240 --> 00:14:37.360
Like just like when we were moving to Arizona, you know, how many times I hoped to be able to move to Arizona because my mom was out here throughout like 10 years.

00:14:37.519 --> 00:14:41.039
I was like hoping someday, like I'm gonna move to Arizona.

00:14:41.120 --> 00:14:43.440
I was, you know, someday that's what I want.

00:14:43.519 --> 00:14:43.840
Yeah.

00:14:44.159 --> 00:14:53.600
But when we decided that this is what we need to do to improve our lives, and we decided that this is the path we need to be on, it was an inner knowing.

00:14:53.759 --> 00:14:57.279
And it was it it felt different this time, that time.

00:14:57.600 --> 00:15:04.399
It felt different, like, oh, okay, this is what we're doing versus this is what I want to do.

00:15:04.559 --> 00:15:04.879
Right.

00:15:05.039 --> 00:15:14.480
And it's it sounds very basic when nice put it into words, but like in my mind, it just it's like a click that just made all the difference.

00:15:14.639 --> 00:15:20.000
Like, oh, okay, this is what we're doing now versus that's just something I want.

00:15:20.799 --> 00:15:23.759
So I have that with the podcast.

00:15:23.919 --> 00:15:27.600
I have the same fears of, are we just wasting our time here?

00:15:27.759 --> 00:15:32.480
Like editing, recording, and putting all this time and effort into it.

00:15:32.720 --> 00:15:41.360
Of course, those fears creep in for me, but ultimately I have this inner knowing that we're just doing it this time.

00:15:41.519 --> 00:15:42.559
We're just doing it.

00:15:42.720 --> 00:15:49.600
And actually, uh throughout the the four-day weekend, I I felt that same inner knowing.

00:15:49.759 --> 00:15:54.399
And I got clarification and I got people there that we met in the group.

00:15:54.559 --> 00:15:56.480
I kind of got validation through them.

00:15:56.720 --> 00:15:59.519
They weren't even aware that they were validating me.

00:15:59.679 --> 00:16:00.000
Yeah.

00:16:00.240 --> 00:16:09.440
Or us, but they did through their through their actions and through their words, they were validating that we need to be doing this.

00:16:09.519 --> 00:16:11.120
This is the work that we need to be doing.

00:16:11.360 --> 00:16:12.000
Yeah, yeah.

00:16:12.159 --> 00:16:16.559
And again, we're just acting with more intention and less less guessing per se.

00:16:16.720 --> 00:16:18.320
So you're kind of hey, just do it.

00:16:18.559 --> 00:16:19.039
Just do it.

00:16:19.120 --> 00:16:20.080
Just move.

00:16:20.320 --> 00:16:24.320
Just keep doing the steps that you need to do to get to the goal.

00:16:24.480 --> 00:16:28.960
Just keep taking the next step, even if you don't know what it is.

00:16:29.200 --> 00:16:29.360
Yeah.

00:16:29.600 --> 00:16:30.720
It's like you just keep going.

00:16:30.960 --> 00:16:33.440
Yeah, if it doesn't work, move on to the next.

00:16:33.600 --> 00:16:33.759
Right.

00:16:34.000 --> 00:16:37.279
Because now you kinda have like another experience, right?

00:16:37.679 --> 00:16:38.000
Yeah.

00:16:38.240 --> 00:16:39.519
So that was awesome.

00:16:39.679 --> 00:16:41.200
It was actually very, very great.

00:16:41.360 --> 00:16:47.440
Um Do you want to talk about like the stories of the people that validated things for us?

00:16:47.679 --> 00:16:47.919
Sure.

00:16:48.159 --> 00:16:57.600
One of the big moments, I guess, was um on the last day on Sunday, you kind of raised your hand and just started talking.

00:16:58.080 --> 00:16:59.200
Oh no, okay, no, no.

00:16:59.440 --> 00:17:03.600
What happened was just like uh Rodivine was like, You guys are so quiet.

00:17:03.759 --> 00:17:04.160
Oh yeah.

00:17:04.319 --> 00:17:05.599
So everyone was kind of quiet.

00:17:05.680 --> 00:17:09.599
I think we have like a mix of believers and non-believers.

00:17:10.079 --> 00:17:10.799
You know what I mean?

00:17:10.880 --> 00:17:14.960
I I think, you know, again, like I think at that point everybody was believing.

00:17:15.119 --> 00:17:16.000
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:17:16.079 --> 00:17:16.319
Absolutely.

00:17:16.480 --> 00:17:19.359
But walking in, yeah, there was uncertainty.

00:17:19.759 --> 00:17:41.119
Those that are still like trying to understand the whole process, understand the whole meditation techniques, going deeper, yeah, the concepts, going deeper into your inner you and and connect to the universe or God or the source or whatever, you know, try to kind of put all those thoughts together and the energy, and again, it was exhausting, so many hours, you know.

00:17:41.359 --> 00:17:43.519
Yeah, it was it was a lot of mental work.

00:17:43.839 --> 00:17:44.160
Oh, yeah.

00:17:44.559 --> 00:17:45.920
Our brain was fried.

00:17:46.559 --> 00:17:59.759
But then I kind of wanted to to share our story in a little bit, you know, because I I felt like again, our story is always gonna bring some sort of like that's like a we put like a light uh on people's path.

00:18:00.000 --> 00:18:00.400
Yeah.

00:18:00.559 --> 00:18:02.640
You know, so that was my intention.

00:18:02.880 --> 00:18:04.640
But I don't remember, what did I say?

00:18:04.960 --> 00:18:14.880
Well, first of all, I'd like to preface that with is usually when you and I go to um seminars and different things like that, we're kind we kind of keep to ourselves.

00:18:15.039 --> 00:18:15.200
Yeah.

00:18:15.359 --> 00:18:15.920
We're reserved.

00:18:16.319 --> 00:18:23.279
We're very reserved and quiet and we talk to each other, of course, but we don't put ourselves on in the spotlight.

00:18:23.440 --> 00:18:25.440
Like that's just not who we are.

00:18:25.759 --> 00:18:41.759
Um, so I don't know, you just you just started talking about uh I think I said something about for those that are still kind of trying to understand the concept about meditation and about to really you know make things happen.

00:18:42.480 --> 00:18:43.920
Just trust the process and do it.

00:18:45.599 --> 00:18:46.400
Yeah, that's right.

00:18:46.640 --> 00:18:48.400
We're actually doing it.

00:18:48.640 --> 00:18:50.960
Yeah, you will see you were giving a little bit of our story.

00:18:51.200 --> 00:18:57.599
Yeah, we're meditating, we're we're we're working on our projects and our and the things are unfolding.

00:18:58.400 --> 00:19:05.200
You know, and divine or through the Silva training, she's like giving us all the tools to do it.

00:19:05.359 --> 00:19:07.359
Like, hey, just do it.

00:19:07.599 --> 00:19:09.200
Yeah, you know, believe in yourself.

00:19:09.359 --> 00:19:13.839
We've been uh researching this for a long time, uh the Silva method.

00:19:14.079 --> 00:19:22.880
And there is like a millions of uh students, you know, uh sharing their their stories with their achievements and goals and things that changed their lives.

00:19:22.960 --> 00:19:29.839
And for instance, one of them just you just said when you got up in the morning and you like felt it's a new day.

00:19:30.000 --> 00:19:30.240
Right.

00:19:30.720 --> 00:19:44.079
Could be coincidence, yes, but it doesn't matter because you went through the training, you did the work, and now you're like seeing life with a different different eyes, I guess.

00:19:44.400 --> 00:19:44.720
Yeah.

00:19:44.960 --> 00:19:56.240
And you were kind of you were telling people how that we've been doing the work for at least two years, and through the work that we've been doing, the different things that we've been able to manifest.

00:19:56.400 --> 00:19:59.839
Yeah, one of them there was a few that you mentioned.

00:20:00.160 --> 00:20:04.880
One of them was again for all this is also related to the law of attraction.

00:20:05.200 --> 00:20:11.599
Uh uh, which I uh I think I said that I wrote my letter of resignation back in December.

00:20:11.920 --> 00:20:15.599
Because again, part of me was like also done with the company.

00:20:15.920 --> 00:20:18.960
I wasn't even looking for for them to fire me or anything like that.

00:20:19.039 --> 00:20:30.880
I was very committed to the company from Monday through Sunday, you know, em emailing on the weekends and uh answering calls at night, you know, like crazy, you know, very devoted to to the company.

00:20:31.519 --> 00:20:37.359
But as part of me was like, hey, this chapter needs to end because I have to move on.

00:20:37.519 --> 00:20:41.039
I need to level up or I need to there's more for me.

00:20:41.279 --> 00:20:47.759
Yeah, you know, so then I decided to write a letter of resignation in December it didn't have a date.

00:20:48.400 --> 00:20:50.960
This is the story that I was telling everyone that was there, you know.

00:20:51.759 --> 00:20:55.599
And then in January I decided to put a date on it.

00:20:56.559 --> 00:21:00.640
And I typed the date, it was well written, all I needed to do was just print it.

00:21:01.039 --> 00:21:01.359
Yeah.

00:21:02.000 --> 00:21:03.680
So then I put a date on it.

00:21:03.920 --> 00:21:07.359
I think it was uh February 13th, I think.

00:21:07.920 --> 00:21:12.799
And it was like on the February 6th, and everyone was just looking at me like, what?

00:21:13.200 --> 00:21:24.880
Yeah, you know, and again, it was just the work that I I was doing all 2025 trying to like work on the business and on our business, trying to make things happen.

00:21:25.039 --> 00:21:28.559
Me, I I feel trapped on my in on my job.

00:21:28.799 --> 00:21:35.759
Yeah, you know, I wanted to work on the podcast, it was so hard, you know, to work at night, because again, I was just fully drained.

00:21:36.079 --> 00:21:44.079
And also we talked about how you used to be depressed and through meditation and through all the techniques that you would uh that you've been doing.

00:21:44.559 --> 00:21:53.200
You kindly threw me under the bus with that one, because that's not something I generally speak about you know, with more than one or two people listening.

00:21:53.279 --> 00:22:10.720
I don't care, but like all of a sudden we're in this group, there was 13, 14 people, whatever, in the room, and can said, you know, my wife got um overcame like her depression and anxiety, and I was like, no, everybody turned around and looked at me and I was like, oh, we're going there, are we?

00:22:10.880 --> 00:22:36.720
But but it was such a helpful comment because then other other people were well, it was a helpful conversation, I should say, not not just the comment, but everybody, you know, then is asking you about your job and how that made you feel and um whether you thought you kind of manifested that or were you shocked and the different feelings that went along with that.

00:22:36.799 --> 00:22:51.599
And then they were also intrigued about my story and about uh getting rid of you know depression anxiety and there were a bunch of people that were very interested in that because so many people struggle with those those things.

00:22:51.759 --> 00:23:03.680
It's such a deep struggle for everyone not everyone but for a lot of people and if it's not you then it's somebody else that you know is struggling with a deep sadness or an anxiety disorder or whatever.

00:23:03.920 --> 00:23:32.799
So their reactions and their questions and their comments to our stories their eyes were wide open and couldn't believe you know some of the things that we were talking and telling them of our story um and you know what we've manifested and they were in they they just were not I don't want to say in awe they were in awe but they were just very intrigued engaged, intrigued of they wanted to hear more.

00:23:33.119 --> 00:23:38.640
So it really drove home the fact that people need to hear this stuff.

00:23:39.519 --> 00:23:40.400
People want to hear this.

00:23:40.559 --> 00:23:42.880
And that's what I thought like they need to hear it.

00:23:43.599 --> 00:23:44.480
They need to hear it.

00:23:44.799 --> 00:23:58.960
We have so much information that could move people's lives forward and it would be like if we weren't discussing it and sharing it with other people like we're doing people a disservice I feel like you know you can take it or leave it.

00:23:59.039 --> 00:24:01.200
If you want to listen or don't want to listen that's fine.

00:24:01.359 --> 00:24:05.440
Like whatever you need or want I'm you know all for that.

00:24:05.759 --> 00:24:18.160
But if we're not sharing it for the people that do want to hear it, I feel like that's a disservice um because we have overcome so much and because we have been able to create a life that we really love.

00:24:18.319 --> 00:24:20.559
Yeah that we were not in this place years ago.

00:24:21.200 --> 00:24:30.880
I mean this was a lot of intentional work that we've done and a lot of uh pushing through the shit.

00:24:31.200 --> 00:26:51.279
Yeah and we we enjoy uh being together uh we enjoy being with our family we enjoy so many things that we did we see life so differently yeah than before yeah and you just have to do the work you just have to commit right you know yeah you just have to kinda really try to get out of the hole you know it's it's you have all the power now I always kinda feel like the morning is a good a good like a starting point well it's the morning the day is starting you don't have a choice but to start choose what to start yeah uh yeah but if you set up your intention in the morning you know if you set up your intentions in the morning a few things don't I know some people don't even have time they just get up and they just say hey I gotta go I gotta go I gotta go I gotta go I gotta go to work in the shower while you're shaving or whatever brushing your teeth set up your intentions start there start there that's going to really things are gonna start changing you're not gonna see it the first week after a while you're gonna start seeing changes because your intention just changed right you know now you're not the this guy going on the freeway thinking like oh my god there's so much traffic yeah you're expecting now that everything is gonna be good yeah and or maybe that week they're gonna buy launches for everyone right they're gonna say 15 bucks whatever you spend every day you know little things you're gonna see you have to ever look for the things little things you know and then you amplify that right stupid little things you know someone says uh you know you're looking good hey thank you take it don't say really I didn't like how my hair came out today like nope yeah hey thank you thank you you know all those things are gonna come to you and then before you know it you're like oh wait a minute something's happening things are changing yeah then go pick up a good book or pick up a good podcast uh so you kinda get yourself into hey no I'm changing my life yeah I'm changing my life you know it's not gonna happen just overnight but I'm changing my life yeah so the power is within you so and that's why we kind of thought to share the story with the with the with the guys at the Silva the Silva training.

00:26:51.519 --> 00:27:26.960
Yeah and another another instance that happened to me while we were there that really kind of solidified this feeling of I'm doing the right thing you know this is this is what I should be doing was one of the gentlemen who I was paired off with in one of the groups that we were doing was very uh he was there with his wife again and he was very quiet and kind of stoic and reserved and I could tell he was I think I mentioned earlier who he was the one that uh had never meditated before.

00:27:27.519 --> 00:27:36.400
So he um so I was paired off with him and I think he was a little just still apprehensive about doing all of this work.

00:27:36.559 --> 00:27:40.960
But he was there he was showing up and doing the work and you know doing the thing.

00:27:41.519 --> 00:28:14.160
And we got done with our exercise early and we were having this conversation about um he was just asking me questions about the work I had been doing and I was telling him I've been doing all this inner work for the past two years and meditating, visualizing uh hypnotherapy, healing all this different stuff and I said to him, you know, since I've started this it's completely changed the person that I am from two years ago to today I'm a completely different person.

00:28:14.480 --> 00:28:20.079
I said I'm not gonna I wouldn't say that I'm healed and I'm just I have no more problems or anything like that.

00:28:20.319 --> 00:28:23.440
No of course like I still have my down days I still feel like crap.

00:28:23.599 --> 00:28:35.119
I still ruminate on things I shouldn't be ruminating on and all that stuff but I said you know I I'm off all medications I I my anxiety is really in check.

00:28:35.200 --> 00:28:38.400
Yeah my depression is mostly gone.

00:28:38.559 --> 00:28:52.720
I don't really wouldn't say I have it anymore but of course it can come and go in in spurts and I get moments of sadness but they're much shorter lived than it ever used to be by an exponential amount.

00:28:52.960 --> 00:29:10.000
And he was like he was just so sincere and he was like thank you so much for sharing that story that gives me so much hope to hear from you from someone who's had so much success with this work because he was still questioning it and uncertain.

00:29:10.480 --> 00:29:23.920
And you're always questioned your brain is gonna go question it goes to the negative path this is BS this is woo woo this is like woo exactly that's what I used to think this is like come on this is like a we are living it.

00:29:24.079 --> 00:29:25.039
Yeah changes.

00:29:25.359 --> 00:29:42.720
Right and I thought I was like oh well that was nice for him to comment that because I was just really trying to pass the time because I didn't want things to get uncomfortable and sit there in silence but like I was like oh that was nice of him to be appreciative that I shared my story.

00:29:42.799 --> 00:29:44.720
I was just kind of talking.

00:29:45.039 --> 00:29:58.640
And then on the last day I already told you Ken but his his wife came up to me who she had like a really thick Russian accent and she caught me totally off guard because I I hadn't even really spoken to her all weekend.

00:29:58.960 --> 00:30:06.160
But she was thanking me for having this conversation with her husband and saying that it really helped him.

00:30:06.640 --> 00:30:12.240
And I was like oh really like I was totally thrown off guard.

00:30:12.400 --> 00:30:25.359
I was like yeah of course and I was kind of like stuttering over my words and I was like is she really saying that like I didn't I was like it was kind of like I don't want to say I was not expecting it.

00:30:25.839 --> 00:30:31.279
I didn't think I had I had thought I had zero impact on him you know this nice man.

00:30:31.599 --> 00:30:49.359
Um but she was there sh there was his wife complimenting me and thanking me for you know just having this deeper conversation with him and helping him even even a little smidge on his journey and I took that to heart and I was just like that is what fuels me.

00:30:49.519 --> 00:31:00.319
That fills me with so much joy to know that I helped that man even a smidge um to help him understand that you know this is available to all of us.

00:31:00.559 --> 00:31:03.920
Yeah to all of us oh yeah so you can make the changes right in there.

00:31:04.240 --> 00:31:16.720
You don't need money you don't need fancy cars you don't need you don't need anything and you just hey you know what you just need you you are one decision away I'm changing my life right now.

00:31:16.960 --> 00:31:53.440
Yeah and I know you don't know where you're going I know there is uncertainty I know that the problems are not gonna dissolve just like that no but there is a start just start right there hey I'm changing my life just to commit to that right I'm changing my life maybe there's no no not a change but maybe to meet the right person you know or maybe to heal basically you know when I'm going to heal I'm gonna find a way to how to heal you know so there's whatever your intention is your intention yeah just put faith in it and you know and believe that it's happening.

00:31:53.759 --> 00:32:03.680
Yeah that it's happening and yeah so we just wanted to share our experience with the Silva life system and Silva intuition system that we experienced no actually we graduated.

00:32:04.000 --> 00:32:31.359
Yes we are graduates that's correct yeah very proud yeah so anyways the Silva method used for healing goal achievement decision making mental clarity all of those things really really helped us gain some clarity and some direction on where we want to go and just solidified things for us that we are on the right path and we are doing the right thing because we can do whatever we want in this life.

00:32:31.519 --> 00:32:36.000
So that is our takeaway from it highly recommend five stars.

00:32:36.240 --> 00:32:43.279
Oh yeah yeah we loved it just commit yourself that things are going to change and they will start changing just as if things are changing for us.
