When Life Doesn’t Go According to Plan
At some point, life starts to look very different than what you expected.
You may find yourself feeling stuck, overwhelmed, uncertain, or questioning everything you thought would work.
That’s where this podcast begins.
The Ken and Kim Podcast is about navigating those moments—learning how to shift your perspective, work through what feels heavy, and figure out your next step when the path isn’t clear.
Our Story
Like many people, our journey hasn’t been linear.
We’ve experienced depression, financial stress, uncertainty about our future, failed business ventures, and moments where we truly didn’t know what direction to take next.
At the same time, we’ve been navigating all of this while building a life together, raising a family, and trying to figure out what actually matters along the way.
And we know we’re not the only ones.
This podcast was created for people who are in that exact space—the in-between, the starting over, the figuring it out as you go.
What This Podcast Is About
Each episode is an honest, unfiltered conversation about navigating life when things feel uncertain—and choosing to move forward anyway.
We talk about:
- rebuilding after setbacks and life disruptions
- navigating uncertainty, fear, and major life changes
- shifting your mindset when you feel stuck or overwhelmed
- lessons learned through failure, reinvention, and starting over
- what personal growth actually looks like in real life
We don’t claim to have everything figured out.
We’re sharing the process in real time—the highs, the lows, and everything in between.
Who This Is For
This podcast is for you if you're in a season where life doesn’t look how you thought it would.
If you feel stuck, lost, overwhelmed, or unsure what comes next—you’re not alone.
And you’re in the right place.
This isn’t about perfection.
It’s about rebuilding—one step at a time.
Meet Your Hosts

Ken Anaya is co-host of the Ken and Kim Podcast, where he brings a grounded, honest perspective to conversations about rebuilding your life, navigating uncertainty, and figuring out what to do when things don’t go according to plan. Through his own experiences with career transitions, financial pressure, and starting over, Ken understands what it feels like to carry responsibility while not having a clear path forward. He knows how quickly overthinking, stress, and uncertainty can take over, and how difficult it can be to know what step to take next. What sets Ken apart is his ability to cut through the noise, slow things down, and bring people back to what actually matters. He values living authentically, being present, and building real, meaningful connections, without the pressure to perform or be someone you’re not. Ken brings a practical, no-fluff approach to personal growth. He helps people simplify what feels overwhelming, gain clarity on what truly matters, and move forward in a way that feels aligned with who they are, not who they think they’re supposed to be. Why This Works
Most people don’t stay stuck because they’re not trying.
They stay stuck because they can’t see what’s actually keeping them there.
That’s where we come in.
Together, we bring a balance of emotional insight and grounded perspective, helping you understand what you’re going through on a deeper level, while also showing you how to move forward in a way that feels real and aligned with your life.
We’re not here to give you perfect answers.
We’re here to help you see things more clearly, feel less alone in the process, and take meaningful steps forward, at your pace, in your way.
If You Want More Support
For some people, listening to the podcast is enough.
But there comes a point where you might find yourself thinking:
“I get it… but I still feel stuck.”
“I know something needs to change, I just don’t know what to do next.”
If that’s where you are, you don’t have to figure it out on your own.
We offer a limited number of private Rebuild Sessions, where we help you make sense of what’s going on, work through what’s been holding you back, and gain clarity on what your next step looks like.
